Windows 10 will launch on 29 July 2015, Microsoft’s head of operating systems Terry Myerson said on 1 June.
Microsoft’s announcement follows a report by The Verge in which AMD CEO Lisa Su said Windows 10 would launch at the end of July.
Myerson said that for the first year after release, existing Windows 7 and 8.1 users will receive a free upgrade to Windows 10. Read more
